Tedex Diesel Generation 4 Long Life is a multigrade motor oil manufactured on the basis of top quality mineral hydrotreated base stock, with an appropriate additives selection, designed for locomotives and heavy machinery.

Tedex Diesel Generation 4 Long Life is a zinc-free (>10 ppm Zn) motor oil for all types of contemporary 2- and 4-stroke naturally aspirated and supercharged diesel locomotive engines. The range of uses comprises engines from such manufacturers as GE and EMD, Caterpillar 3500 & 3600’s, Detroid Diesels, MTU’s. Especially fitted for EMD diesel locomotive engines with silver compounds in big-end bearings and turbine bearings. Can be used as lubricant for powerful engines, in local installations and in inland navigation, wherever zinc-free motor oil is a requirement of the manufacturer.
